e-Government Approval for Real Estate Listings in Side
New Era in Real Estate Listings: e-Government Approval Required
The Ministry of Commerce has implemented the Electronic Listing Verification System (EİDS) to combat exorbitant price increases and fake listings, which will include real estate listings for sale starting February 1, 2026. Side is among the pilot cities where the application will be launched.
A new era is beginning in the real estate sector in Side. Previously initiated for rental listings on January 1, 2025, EİDS will now be mandatory for real estate listings for sale. The system, managed by the Ministry of Commerce, will initially be applied in pilot cities.
Strict oversight of unregistered activities With the new system, property owners will create listings by selecting their properties through e-Government and will digitally authorize real estate businesses to post listings. This aims to prevent unauthorized listings, fake accounts, and unregistered brokerage activities. Additionally, the application is expected to limit exorbitant price increases.
EİDS logo will be mandatory Once verification is complete for real estate listings for sale, the EİDS logo or statement will appear in the listings. Property owners will be able to revoke the authorization given through e-Government or extend it for at least three months.
Pilot cities: Side, Izmir, and Sivas The Electronic Listing Verification System will be piloted in Izmir, Side, and Sivas starting February 1, 2026, and will become mandatory nationwide by February 15, 2026. The system will ensure that the ownership information of listings matches precisely, preventing fake listings, unauthorized real estate activities, and fraud attempts.
Officials from the Turkey All Real Estate Consultants Federation state that the regulation will strengthen trust in the sector and increase discipline.
